Julee Snyder, RYT | LMBT #5044
Julee is a licensed bodywork therapist integrating massage, yoga, and movement therapy. She provides individually catered support to people with specialized needs ranging from stress and pain management, pregnancy support, chronic conditions, grief and emotional support, movement inquiries and challenges, breath work, meditation, sensory integration, personal transformation, and more.
Julee enjoys creating healing partnerships and brings to her work a spacious presence, an embodied exploration of anatomy, a clear articulation of alignment and movement principles, a playful curiosity, and a powerful yet sensitive touch. She draws from 15 years of dance experience, 12 years of yoga practice, and more that 2,000 hours of therapeutic study,
Julee received her BA in anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and studied dance at the School for New Dance Development at the Amsterdam School of the Arts. She is a Certified Practitioner of Body-Mind Centering® and received her massage training at the Body Therapy Institute. She is a certified yoga teacher at the 500-hour Professionals Level through Lisa Clark’s EmbodiYoga program in Chapel Hill and she currently co-teaches with Lisa at both the 200 and 500-hour levels.
