What does a session look like?
Sessions incorporate postural and movement evaluation, guided movement, experiential anatomy and imagery, exercise, hands-on techniques and movement patterning.
Individual sessions are custom-tailored to suit your needs. Responding to you, I will choose a combination of hands-on work, movement and guided imagery drawn from your body systems and developmental preferences. You'll discover your postural strengths and weaknesses and learn new ways to think, feel and move in response to your body. Throughout each session, I skillfully attune to your physical and verbal responses and guide the session, choosing from:
Hands-on: Sophisticated techniques are used to release excess tension and increase awareness of specific areas of your body.
Movement: Gentle, specific exercises are suggested to help you identify and change limiting movement patterns and gain new awareness, flexibility, connectedness and strength. Experience yourself moving with greater efficiency and awareness.
